Roman Reigns’ WWE SummerSlam 2023 Opponent Revealed — Reports
Roman Reigns is the WWE Universal Champion. It’s been that way since August 30, 2020. Reigns has always been one of the faces of WWE, but more recently he has taken over as the sole face of the company. He’s having a once-in-a-lifetime run as champion and is the focal point of the biggest storyline in wrestling history.
Roman is the leader of the Bloodline, one of the most well-known factions in wrestling. However, recently his faction began to crumble. After Jimmy Uso turned on Roman, Jey followed shortly after. Now, we are on the road to SummerSlam, one of the biggest premium live events of the year and Roman’s opponent may have been revealed.
According to WRKD Wrestling, Roman Reigns is reportedly set to take on his cousin and former right-hand man, Jey Uso, at SummerSlam for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Although nothing has been made official yet, it looks highly likely that that will be the match.

On Friday Night SmackDown, the Usos held the trial of the tribal chief. However, the trial didn’t go the way the Usos intended. Roman once again manipulated the Usos and attacked them.
Jey’s brother Jimmy, got the worse of the affair as he was sent through the announce table by Solo Siko, the Usos brother. Jimmy left the arena in an ambulance with Jey by his side. However, Jey would return to the arena later in the night and was seeking vengeance. He attacked Roman and Solo and pretty much challenged Roman for the title, so I would expect the match to be made official in the coming weeks leading to WWE SummerSlam.
