Connor McGregor is in the new Road House movie but is it actually good? That’s the task at hand today. The dog days of Summer are around the corner and you’re going to need things to watch. Let’s talk about everything you need to know about Road House while limiting the spoilers as much as possible.
Before I get started, I also did the Fallout TV show review. You can check that out here!
The old movie should be viewed as irrelevant in the sense that we should only judge this movie based on how good it is. I think that’s only fair. If you keep that in mind, this is a really enjoyable watch.
The premise goes like this. You have the character that Jake Gyllenhaal plays. He’s a former UFC fighter with a sketchy past. He goes down to Florida to work security at this bar. I’ll let your mind work out the rest of the kinks from there.
Also, shout out to Conor McGregor. He actually brings some acting skills to the table. He does a really good job with his character so you won’t be disappointed in that aspect.
The movie isn’t all sunshine and rainbows either. It’s not everybody is happy at the end of it. You have to appreciate part of the realism in this one too.
Overall, I was happy. You got to see violence and had a few laughs along the way. What more can you ask for out of this movie? Overall, I recommend it. You won’t be disappointed by this even if it’s not the greatest movie you have ever seen.
