Ric Flair receives testosterone treatments to keep up with sex life
At 74-years-old, Ric Flair still keeps up with a wild sex life and recently revealed how he still manages to keep up compared to his youth.
The Nature Boy has gained a reputation for not only being one of the most legendary pro wrestlers, but also a womanizer.
Over the years, Ric Flair has been married five times and brought four children into the world–his most famous child being Charlotte Flair, who followed him into the industry. While he and his current wife, Wendy Barlow separated in January 2022, the two have since reconciled.
During his recent appearance on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast, Flair compared his sex life today to the height of his wrestling career.
“The fact of the matter is I could recover in six seconds,” he said. “When you’re young, you’re a human squirt gun.”
Flair also alleged that his years of steroid abuse pushed his testosterone count down to 12 nanograms, compared to the 300-400 nanograms men his age usually have. The veteran then sought medical intervention to push it back up to 1000 nanograms.
“The 400 at my age don’t work either,” he said. “They say, ‘Isn’t 1,000 a little high for you?’ I say, ‘Nope… perfect.'”
Back in 2017, Flair sat down for an interview with People, wherein he shockingly claimed to have had around 10,000 sexual partners across his lifetime. The legend quickly apologized to his grandchildren, however, and claimed that since meeting Wendy he has been faithful to her.
Pro Wrestling ended Ric Flair’s first marriage
In 1971, Flair tied the knot with Leslie Goodman, and together the two had two children. However, by 1983, his career strained their marriage so much that Goodman opted to divorce him. During the same interview with Theo Von, The Nature Boy recalled the conversation he had with his first ex-wife.
“My first wife just said, this is cool, and I have two kids by her. We get along with to this day, we never had an argument,” he said. She just said, ‘This is not what I signed up for.’ I said, ‘I’ll buy you a bigger house because I don’t care.’ I don’t. I’ve been spending my life alone. Because once you get on the road, if you’re successful, as you know, it’s fun.”
While his love life has not been very successful, Ric Flair still managed to cultivate an unrivaled career in pro wrestling. Controversial or not, The Nature Boy’s real-life antics will likely never overshadow his monumental pro wrestling career.
