Real Madrid Reaches Agreement To Land Jude Bellingham

Transfer szn is getting hot and heavy already. The diamond of the ball for midfielders, Jude Bellingham, has landed with one of the big boy clubs. Read Madrid has reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to land the English midfielder.

Legendary reporter Fabrizio Romano was the first to report the news:

Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid, here we go! Agreement in place with Borussia Dortmund. It’s done deal.

Fee: €100m plus add-ons.

Bellingham will sign six year deal valid until June 2029 agreed in April.

Bellingham, 19, has been on the radar for all the heavy hitting clubs for a long time now. There has been reports of Liverpool, Manchester United, and several other that vied for his services. The rising star midfielder will now head to the Spanish capital and create a lethal midfield.

The midfield group that Real Madrid has seems a bit unfair. You have to wonder if they pulled some career mode cheese in FIFA. Bellingham joins a midfield that also includes Eduardo Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Federico Valverde. All of whom are 24 and younger. That’s not even including the veteran group of Toni Kroos and Luka Modrić. What an awesome group Real has assembled.

Real might not be done either. Reports have indicated that they also want to reel in Harry Kane this Summer. A move that makes a lot of sense given the departure of Karim Benzema. Regardless of what’s to come next, landing a young star like Bellingham is a HUGE win for the club.

During three full seasons at Dortmund, Bellingham racked up 132 appearances, scoring 24 goals. Dortmund will miss Bellingham but this is what they do. He’s been with the club since he was 16 and made a massive profit on developing him.
