Rashee Rice Suffers Likely ACL Tear

This was one we kinda knew the second it happened. Now, it’s just a matter of getting the full confirmation. Rashee Rice got tangled up in a weird play where Patrick Mahomes threw a pick and then the defender fumbled it back to the offense.

The worst part is, it was Mahomes who took out his own teammate.

We knew from jump street it wasn’t good and the Chiefs didn’t exactly get good news after the game. It appears the expectation is that it’s a torn ACL for the former SMU product. Rice will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Rice, 24, came out of the gates hot to start the 2024-25 NFL Season. The Chiefs wide out notched 24 receptions for 288 yards and two touchdowns through four games. Prior to this week against the Chargers, Rice entered as WR5 in terms of fantasy on the season. It’s a huge blow to the Chiefs who now lose their number one target.

I don’t want to be that guy but It’s impossible to not talk about the Karma gods. The guy acted like a jerkoff all offseason. The NFL then didn’t suspend him for all the raunchy behavior. You can’t convince me that the Karma gods didn’t intervene here and say…

“Hey, NFL… you’re not going to suspend this idiot? K… Watch this”

I don’t speak for the Karma gods but I imagine that’s exactly how it went.
