Randy Orton is undoubtedly one of the greatest to ever step foot in a wrestling ring. The man has won countless championships and has been one of the faces of WWE for two decades. Even recently he has continued to stay as a major factor in WWE. But with a sport as grueling as professional wrestling, injuries will catch up to you. Randy Orton has been sidelined with an injury since May of 2022. However, his return may be sooner than you think.
According to WRKD Wrestling, Randy Orton’s in-ring return reportedly could be soon. The viper could even return as soon as WWE Money in the Bank.
Randy Orton is expected to be nearing a return, possibly even as soon as this weekend’s Money In The Bank.

Furthermore, WWE Legend, Kurt Angle, said that Orton could be back in the ring “pretty damn soon.” Kurt Angle and Randy Orton’s wives are good friends, so that is something worth noting. However, Randy Orton’s father, Bob Orton, said that doctors told him that he shouldn’t wrestle again.
Orton suffered a major back injury in May of 2022. The veteran had back fusion surgery a few months after that and has been recovering ever since. Back injuries are extremely difficult to come back from, especially at Orton’s age.
Randy Orton is a wrestling legend and truly was the face of a generation. He owes the wrestling business nothing and is easily a first-ballot Hall of Famer. He is one of the last remaining icons of a generation that is still wrestling. So the most important thing is that he does what’s best for him. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to see him back in the ring one more time and get a proper retirement match.
