Somebody belongs in jail. Mike Mayock, Jon Gruden, the lunch lady, etc. I don’t care who you punish but somebody has to be accountable for this. The Raiders blew the 2019 NFL Draft. Bottom line, end of story. Clelin Ferrell, Josh Jacobs, and now Johnathan Abram all had their 5th year options declined. Today is the icing on the cake for the Raiders blame pie. Las Vegas has flat out released Johnathan Abram after they failed to find a single trade partner to take him off their hands.
Tom Peliserro of NFL Network was the first to report the news:
Abram, 26, is in the final year of his rookie contract and was owed a little over $1 million in base salary to cover the rest of the year. Will someone take a chance on Abram? Maybe. He’s not untalented in terms of being able to hit someone really hard. Everything else, not so talented.
Of course, Trey wins again here. You know what they say; Trey wins, haters run. That 2019 NFL Draft class was a disaster and it’s BS that anybody argued with me about it. It was clear then. Only the dummies are figuring that part out now.
Abram finishes his Raiders tenure 255 tackles, three interceptions, zero sacks, zero forced fumbles, and zero touchdowns in 34 games played. Way to go Mayock. If I were you I would be ashamed to show my face in public. Should have just stayed at NFL Network. Would have never been exposed as a fraud that way.
