Quinshon Judkins 2025 NFL Draft Profile

Ohio State had the best running back tandem in the country last year, which proved to be a big reason why the Buckeyes won the National Title. We already covered TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins is next to go under the microscope. Let’s not waste any time, so here is your 2025 NFL Draft profile on Judkins!

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 5Week 6Week 7Week 10Week 13College Football Playoff First RoundRose BowlCotton BowlNational Championship

Judkins, 21, checks in at a tick under 6-foot, 221. The Pike Road, Alabama native was a three star prospect coming out of high school, but lit the world on fire right away as a freshman at Ole Miss. His most productive season was actually as a freshman with the Rebels, posting 1,567 yards at a 5.7 clip with 16 touchdowns. The following year, the numbers went down, but he was still excellent. In 2024, Judkins took his talents to Ohio State to split reps with Henderson and finished over 1,000 yards at a 5.5 YPC clip and 14 touchdowns. He also has a fair amount of receiving touchdowns adding five career touchdowns through the air.

If you read the stock notes at the top, you will notice a few themes. He’s basically a monster truck on crack in a good way. He’s not going to outrace a sports car, but there are just so many times he plays like a man possessed. His hair kinda represents who he is. Half blonde part I assume was getting hit by thunder while having that graceful fluidity in his game. The top end speed isn’t elite, but the dude is powerful and can help out in the passing game as a blocker / receiving threat.

I don’t know how else to say it. There’s just an energy about him. The final game against Notre Dame, it was like some spirit guided him into Hercules vibes. Pancaking people and running everybody over like a monster. His short-area stuff is good. It’s not elite and doesn’t have the most nimble feet but the knee bend stuff is all there while being elusive vision wise.

Honestly, the Combine represents who he is pretty well. 4.48 speed with a 1.51 is pretty accurate. It’s good speed, but that first step explosion is off the charts good. Combine that with really good leaping numbers and sexy juke moves with power. Probably a B-level guy in the pass game catching wise department, but a super blocker in pass pro. A level burst in the first step. Has that DAWG in him and is a total weapon in short yardage. The guy scores touchdowns and was used in that role, while Henderson did the lightning rod role. Guy is incredibly hard to tackle, too. Has light feet and thrives in the contact balance department.

If you want a tough back who can bring a physical presence while being well rounded, this is your guy.

I have a round 2-3 grade on Quinshon Judkins. There’s no reason to think he can’t be a quality NFL back at the next level. Speed, power, toughness, etc. Judkins has pretty much everything you’re looking for and will make the team that drafts him pretty happy.
