PSG Star Kylian Mbappé Set To Join Real Madrid

PSG superstar Kylian Mbappé is set to join Real Madrid this summer, according to ESPN. He will join Madrid on a free transfer once his contract with PSG expires.

The 25-year-old has yet to inform either PSG or Madrid. He could decide to change his mind and stay with PSG in Ligue 1 since nothing has been finalized, which would not be out of the realm of possibilities, especially considering his decision to stay with PSG in the summer of 2022 when he was also expected to move to Madrid. However, his decision is reportedly final and he is expected to make an announcement about his move next week.

It has been expected by members of the PSG camp that Mbappé would ultimately decide After rejecting a chance to extend his stay in Paris this summer, the relationship between the two reached its breaking point, and it appeared likely that the Frenchman would walk this summer.

Mbappé has been rumored to be joining Real Madrid for years now. He grew up dreaming of playing for the club and idolized Madrid legends such as Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo. Now, he will be taking a 50% pay cut to move to the Spanish capital and join the 14-time European champions.

He will join a star-studded team that includes world-class players like Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Júnior. With Mbappé joining the mix, it would be hard to imagine many teams being able to compete with their star power on the pitch.

PSG, meanwhile, will begin to prepare for life without their superstar. The club has identified AC Milan attacker Rafael Leão as Mbappé’s replacement.
