PSG Star Kylian Mbappe Named FIFA 21 Cover Athlete
EA Sports has officially named its cover athlete for FIFA 21. PSG superstar and the best young player in the world, Kylian Mbappe is the cover athlete for FIFA 21. Mbappe is the game’s biggest rising star and now gets proper recognition.
Mbappe is thrilled to be honored with the cover athlete:
“Being on the cover of FIFA is a dream come true,” Mbappe said. “From my time at Bondy to Clairefontaine to the World Cup, this marks another big milestone.
“I’ve been playing this game since I was a kid and I am honoured to represent a whole new generation of footballers and be in the same group as many other amazing footballers who I now share this honor with.”
If you have watched my FIFA series with Arsenal, you know that Kylian Mbappe is a human cheat code. It’s almost not fair. The man is just too fast and too skilled compared to everyone else. Mbappe was a leading force in France’s World Cup title in 2018 and has helped PSG win 3 straight Lique titles. He also helped his former club Monaco win Lique 1 in 2017. He’s a cheat code. It’s not fair.
After many years of featuring Messi and Ronaldo on the cover, it’s Mbappe’s turn to shine and it’s well deserved. Eden Hazard was on the FIFA 20 cover and basically missed the entire year with injuries. Mbappe, 21, has just one more thing to prove. Go win the Champions League with PSG. Winning the Champions League with PSG would put Mbappe on a legendary path already at such a young age.
