Predicting No. 30 in the Men’s WWE Royal Rumble Match

The WWE Royal Rumble is the next premium live event for the company and is one of the most exciting of the year. The match is filled with breathtaking spots and surprise returns. Some of the most memorable moments in WWE history have taken place at the Royal Rumble.

The Royal Rumble officially marks the road to WrestleMania. Feuds usually start around the time of the rumble and get settled at WrestleMania. The winner of the Royal Rumble also gets a shot at either the WWE or Universal Championship at WrestleMania. So, there is a lot of the line which makes this one of the most important shows of the year.

The 30th entrant in the match has a huge advantage since they will be the freshest. Who will be the final entrant in the men’s Royal Rumble match?

Who Will Be No. 30?

The 30th entrant has a clear advantage. As the freshest in the match, they will likely not have to go through a lot of wrestlers.

There have been some interesting wrestlers who have entered at No. 30 over the last few years. Nia Jax was the final entrant in the 2019 men’s Royal Rumble; Triple H entered at No. 30 in the 2016 Royal Rumble and won the WWE Champions; and Roman Reigns entered at No. 30 in the 2017 match and eliminated Chris Jericho, Bray Wyatt and the Undertaker.

I think this year we will get another iconic final entrant in the match. The Royal Rumble always has returns and debuts, so I think we will be getting a highly anticipated return of Cody Rhodes.

Rhodes tore his pectoral muscle about seven months ago. Typically, that type of injury takes about 6-9 months to return from. But we’ve seen John Cena return from almost the same exact injury in about four months.

I think Rhodes is going to return at the Royal Rumble as the final entrant because he is the one to take the WWE Championship away from Reigns. It’s also being reported that Reigns defending his title against Rhodes is being discussed for WrestleMania 39.

Ultimately, Rhodes returning would be an incredible moment for the show. Just imagine the crowd chants “3, 2, 1” the buzzer goes off and you hear “wrestling has more than one royal family.” It would be one of the most iconic Royal Rumble moments in history.
