Patriots Waive Yodny Cajuste, Combine Method Wins Again

The OG readers of this site know by now that I take immense pride in my work when it comes to the NFL Draft. I’m right about 98% of the time despite having zero resources or inside information. The knees always tell the story and the combine method has won again. Yes, this is an “I told you so” blog so deal with it. The Patriots waived Yodny Cajuste today and I’m here to take my victory parade.

Field Yates was the first to report the news for reference.

I care about the NFL Draft a lot but I’m not going to waste time this Summer reviewing offensive line tape. When someone puts money in my pocket, then maybe I’ll do it. Nor do I have time to devote that much time to it. I have an entire media company to run. Also, a lot of this stuff is like American Idol. If you have eyes and pride yourself on being a talent evaluator, it shouldn’t take you long to figure things out.

The knees always tell the story.

If you go back and look at my guaranteed busts from the 2019 NFL Draft, it’s a five for five proclamation. All of the players were either overdrafted or flat out suck. In the case of Cajuste, he just sucks and the real talent evaluators knew during the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine. Go ahead and click the link. It’s the same link that told you Garrett Bradbury wasn’t any good either.

The Patriots drafted Cajuste in that awful 2019 Class where they took N’Keal Harry over Deebo Samuel, AJ Brown, and DK Metcalf. Of course, those three being my top guys that year.

The knees always tell the story.

Are you ready to listen now?

Cajuste, 27, missed the entire 2019 and 2020 seasons due to injury. The last two years he was mainly a depth piece. The former West Virginia product made just five starts since being drafted. Now he’s out of a job and probably will be out of the league shortly.

Don’t tell me the Combine doesn’t matter. You’re just uneducated if you believe that. Cajuste is just another example.
