Free agent half back Ahmad Bradshaw has been suspended by the league for one game. Bradshaw, who pleaded no contest to marijuana possession in May will now be suspended for the incident. The suspension will only complicate any pursuit from another NFL team.
The 29 year old back played the last two seasons for the Indianapolis Colts. Ahmad Bradshaw was released this past offseason as the team is hoping Frank Gore can successfully replace him. Indy also had Vick Ballard returning from a torn ACL. Before suffering a season-ending fractured fibula Bradshaw scored eight touchdowns with 725 total yards in 10 games for the Colts last year.
Bradshaw may have blown his chance at signing with a team. There are a bevy of free agent runningbacks including Chris Johnson, Steven Jackson, Pierre Thomas, Ben Tate, and Knowshon Moreno.
