New Tim Hortons Menu Item: Smokey Honey Bacon Breakfast Sandwich

During my average morning commute, I went to grab a simple breakfast sandwich from Tim Hortons. The classic bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is always a reliable staple. The farmer’s wraps are also just as good and slightly different to spice things up.

Tim Hortons always has the best options for quick, easy and cheap breakfast sandwiches to go along with your morning coffee. Although it was a typical morning commute, there was a twist this time. I had noticed they came out with a new breakfast sandwich, one that is a change from the classic bacon egg and cheese. I had to try it!

The Sandwich

This new addition to the menu is called the Smokey Honey Bacon Breakfast Sandwich. It’s definitely a sweet twist from the classic bacon and egg sandwich you’d have every morning! It’s essentially the same sandwich.

It has a flaky and doughy English muffin that’s toasted and buttered, a cracked fried egg in its perfect form and melty cheese to add saltiness and creaminess. Instead of normal crunchy bacon, there’s honey-smoked bacon instead. This bacon was sweet and salty, and it marinated the sandwich. The sandwich was almost doused in this delicious honey, but I’m not complaining.

As someone who likes things less sweet, I still couldn’t stop going for more. Even if you don’t have a sweet tooth, I’d recommend getting your hands on this new sandwich as soon as possible! The honey added not only a sweet element that the classic sandwich was lacking but also added another layer of flavor that was beyond sweet. It was a deep flavor that I look for in a sandwich. 

This definitely made my morning commute better, and it will make yours better as well!
