NCAA FOOTBALL IS BACK! Yes the caps lock is necessary because this is the best thing that could happen for sports video game fans.

Sportscenter tweeted out the news that EA Sports is bringing the game back for next generation consoles. The game had not been on shelves since the contract between EA Sports and the NCAA was terminated over ongoing legal disputes at the time. College athletes did not like how their image and likeness was being used to profit by the game developers.

Once the NCAA made the decision to allow college players to profit off their name, which allowed athletes to sign memorabilia and jerseys to make some coin themselves, the game became more of a reality for sports fans.

EASPORTS themselves tweeted out a teaser themselves sparking the conversation and allowing video game fans to get ready.

Stock market trades have already jumped on the news, with EA stock already going up close to 3% to around $150 since the news was made public.

Trey has made an effort to make video games and eSports a staple on the site. He has brought in writers like myself and others to cover video games and breaking news stories in the world. You can read those stories here.

This news comes right after MLB The Show announced their new cover athlete Fernando Tatis Jr and that the game is coming to Xbox for the first time ever.

I guess this is just another reason for me to try and get a next generation console as it appears this game is only going to be on the new age systems.

Make sure you subscribe to the YouTube page where my podcast along with other video content comes out. I will for sure talk about this news on the next episode which will drop end of the week/weekend.

TL//DR: NCAA Football is back, thanks to new NCAA rules.
