We finished yesterday up 1 Unit out of all NBA plays, which isn’t terrible but isn’t what I want, Let’s get after it today!

Yesterdays Plays

Brooklyn Nets @ Dallas Mavericks 7:30 pm ET

Brooklyn will look to grab a win after losing two straight to the Bucks, while the Mavericks are coming off a strong win against the Heat. The Nets have everyone except James Harden who recently said he is confident he will return before the season ends. Dallas will be without both Kristaps Porzingis and Maxi Kleber. Dallas beat Brooklyn last time they played but both Kleber and KP were active, so Dallas will be without about their size and two of their best shooters (Kleber is their best 3 point shooter at 41.5% from 3). Brooklyn needs a win and tonight and their remaining games are fairly easy other than Denver which is on Saturday. Kyrie and KD balled against the Bucks and I expect them to do the same against Dallas’s eh defense.

1U PICK: Nets -3.5 or Nets MoneyLine if you prefer. Lean to the Over 234.5.

Kevin Durant and Luka Doncic for 35+ Points (sprinkle)

Memphis Grizzlies @ Detroit Pistons 8 pm ET

Originally the plan was to back Pistons +9, I knew the Pistons had a lengthy injury report. But now, Josh Jackson and Hamidou Diallo will also be out tonight joining Jeremi Grant, Mason Plumlee, and possibly Wayne Ellington again. Memphis covered -3.5 for us last night without Jaren Jackson Jr who was held out for rest purposes. He will be back tonight most likely coming off the bench getting around 15-20 minutes. Against a nonexistent Timberwolves defense, Ja had his 37 point breakout game as I predicted in yesterday’s post. Tonight I expect the Grizzlies to come out shooting comfortably as they dropped 139 last night and finish this game by the end of the 3rd quarter. Other than Saddiq Bey and Isiah Stewart, I’m not sure who else will help score the ball consistently for Detroit.

1U PICK: Grizzlies -9

Player Prop: Definitely consider playing Saddiq Bey’s Points and 3PM. At least 3 3’s and 16 points.

Washington Wizards @ Toronto Raptors 7:30 PM ET

Washington has won 12 out of their last 14 games and getting Daniel Gafford back was a big boost for this team down low, he had a 12 point 10 rebound double-double in the Wizards 1 point loss yesterday to the Bucks, while only playing 14 minutes. Toronto will be without OG Anuoby and Chris Boucher tonight. Other than Siakam and Watanabe if he plays (listed as questionable) there is not much height on this Raptors team, and their undersized backcourt of Kyle Lowry and Fred Vanvleet will get exposed tonight against Beal and Russ playing the way they are.

1U PICK: Wizards +2.5

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Golden State Warriors 10 pm ET

SGA remains Out and Lu Dort is questionable. OKC is at the bottom of the league in guarding the 3 point shot, so this will be a fun one to watch. Golden State had 24 3’s last game against the Thunder and won that game 147-109. Some trends I like: Warriors are 9-4 ATS against teams with less then .400 win %. The Warriors are 5-1 ATS following a loss. They’re going to come out hot off the start and try to have Curry done by the 4th, which even if that’s the case, I am confident in the Warriors bench to outscore the Thunder and put them away.

1U PICK: Golden State Warriors -14.5

Power Parlay

Nets -3.5, Wizards +2.5, Hawks -5
