Here is my first ever article about the plays to do for Monkey Knife Fight. While I’m not big into hockey, I’m really big into the NBA. Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) has given me the opportunity to play more prop bet betting despite being in Texas where most Sportsbooks aren’t legal. I can’t wait to use this site more especially with the NFL season coming up as well. Anyway, this is the last day of the regular season in the NBA and the featured NBA games for this are the Knicks and the Celtics, Hornets and Wizards, and the Grizzlies against the Warriors. It’s a pretty solid slate of games. The playoffs will be way more interesting.
Now, I’m frugal (yeah that’s not ideal when betting right?) but I do like to win. On my bets for today (and probably forever) I got my $2 bets to try to have big payouts. In order to win these big payouts, I have to get more picks right. The biggest payouts on MKF are the More or Less, where I play the x30, x35, x100, or x125. Below I have the 4 plays that I have for a total of $8 that I tweeted on Twitter (Follow me!)
Please note to use the code and they’ll match up your deposit up to $100! I put $100 in and now I have $200 to spend on there. In the first picture, this is a bet across all 3 games today. I have Steph Curry going less than 37 points. That’s a hard point total to match, Steph can definitely do it, but I’m not betting on it. Russell Westbrook is going for more than 26 points. That’s a 50/50 ball, against the Hornets, I like those odds. Wiggins for more than 21 points should be a safe bet. Ja Morant for more than 21 points is a steal. I have no problem with that, I would have bet the over on 24 points honestly. I have Terry Rozier for under 22 points. He kinda sucks, I’m not really convinced he is a consistent 20 point scorer. Dillon Brooks is on a scoring tear recently, averaging more than 20 points the last few games. I have no problem taking the over on 19 points for him. Jonas Valanciunas for over 16 points is criminal. I’ll take that against even the best defensive units in the NBA. Against the Warriors, that should be a lock. LaMelo Ball for over 16 points is easy money too. He’s too dynamic to not get that.
In the more game-focused picks, I have the Knicks and the Celtics first. I have Julius Randle going for more than 24 points. Not a lot of players playing for the Celtics, Randle should have a field day. Payton Pritchard might be the best player playing for the Celtics tonight. His scoring numbers should rise with the lack of talent on his team tonight. He’s a lock for more than 15 points. Reggie Bullock for more than 2 3s should happen. He takes an average of 6 3s and makes 2.5 of them. Against less talent today, he should have at least 3. Speaking of lack of talent, Luke Kornet will play a bit tonight, the Knicks have a pretty tall team, but Kornet will muster at least 7 rebounds here. Derrick Rose should have Coinstar tonight because he’s dropping dimes. Only 4.5 for D Rose on assists tonight? Yeah, give me that. Noel has been solid defensively. Against no superstar talent tonight, he should have some blocks and steals to cover the 3.5.
For the Hornets and Wizards game, I covered the Russell Westbrook, Terry Rozier, and LaMelo Ball picks. Going to PJ Washington and getting at least 8 rebounds. I’m all for it, I’m not confident in the Wizard’s bigs, he should be good there. Miles Bridges has no minutes restrictions tonight. Westbrook can be a big of a turnover machine at times, I think Miles Bridges can at least get 2 steals out of the Wizards tonight. Lastly, I think there’s a good chance that Devonte’ Graham gets more than 5 assists tonight. Washington’s defense isn’t the best but this game should be good.
For the last game of the Grizzlies and the Warriors. I covered the Steph Curry, and Ja Morant picks. I have less than 10 assists for Draymond Green. Think about it, we’re essentially banking on Draymond to have a triple-double tonight. He’s been on a passing tear lately, but I won’t bet on Green getting a triple-double, not me. Jonas Valanciunas getting at least 14 rebounds is high. The Warriors really only have Draymond Green worth mentioning as a post, banking on someone getting 14 rebounds is a different story, look against it. Andrew Wiggins for 2 3s? Why not? I’ll take that. Last, I have Kyle Anderson on getting the over on the steals and blocks of 2.5. I’ve loved Slo-Mo ever since he was a Spur. I have faith in him.
