Miles Bridges Arrested For Felony Domestic Violence

NBA star Miles Bridges was arrested on Wednesday in Los Angeles on charges of domestic violence. This report comes from TMZ. The 24-year-old forward, who is currently a free agent after playing for the Charlotte Hornets for four years, turned himself into a local jail regarding a physical altercation that happened sometime on Tuesday. According to law enforcement, a woman claims she was in an argument with Bridges that turned physical. Police were called to the scene, but Bridges was gone by the time they showed up. The woman in question did require medical attention.

Miles Bridges was arrested by LAPD on Wednesday afternoon after he turned himself in. His bail was set at $130k, and it would appear that he has since been released.

Bridges was set for a massive payday this off-season, as this is his first trip to free agency, and was expected to be a hot commodity on the open market. The former 12th overall pick in the 2018 draft had arguably a career year this year, averaging just over 20 points per game along with 7 rebounds and 4 assists per game. Bridges played a pivotal role in the growth of this team alongside LaMelo Ball this year.

This is not the first incident we have seen with Miles Bridges. In April of this year, Bridges was fined $50k for throwing his mouthpiece into the crowd, striking a fan. Bridges was upset about a call, leading to an ejection from the game.
