Markelle Fultz Wants 76ers To Trade Him?

Is anyone more hateable in the city of Philadelphia than Markelle Fultz? There may never be a bigger bust in the history of the NBA than Fultz. Blame it on whatever you want. Whether it’s the yips or if he just flat out sucks, Fultz is done. Fultz now has the audacity to wish for a trade from the 76ers. What a joke.

Here’s the report from Jared Weiss, Derek Bodner and Sam Amick of The Athletic:

“Sources with knowledge of Fultz’s thinking have also told The Athletic that the player would prefer a fresh start with a new team.”

The most laughable part of the Fultz experience is watching him at the foul line. Fultz is sitting out with a shoulder injury now. If you watch his pump fakes at free throw line, it’s not hard to wonder why he has issues. My opinion is that he’s probably pulling an Urban Meyer and faking another illness because he sucks but you can interpret that any way you want.

Either way, let’s get this resolved sooner or later because the guy just flat out sucks. Let’s stop talking about it. Now Fultz’s agent did deny the report and claims that he is just trying to get him healthy.

“Raymond Brothers, the agent for Sixers guard Markelle Fultz, tells ESPN via Woj: “I have given no indication to Elton Brand or anyone else that Markelle would prefer to be traded. My focus is to get Markelle healthy. End of story.”

JJ Redick: Media Coverage On Fultz Has Been ‘Obsessive’

This was briefly mentioned on the podcast that was just released. Jimmy Butler ends the process. The process in itself was a gimmick. Bust after bust after bust. Fultz is just another one. Credit to Danny Ainge for being a fantastic gm and passing on him.
Fultz, 20, is shooting 41.4 percent during his brief career. The former first overall pick is averaging 7.7 points and 3.3 assists per game.
