Mark Ingram Joins Big Noon Kickoff On Fox Sports
Mark Ingram retired from the NFL last month and it did not take him long to figure out his next career path. The former Alabama Crimson Tide running back is joining the Fox Sports college football team. Ingram will be placed on the set of Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff show.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Heisman Trophy-winner and BCS National Champion Mark Ingram to the FOX Sports family,” said FOX Sports President of Production and Operations Brad Zager. “Mark’s infectious personality, outstanding playing credentials and above all passion for the game is what makes him such an invaluable asset to our team. With him on board, Big Noon Kickoff will continue to provide viewers with unparalleled analysis and commentary each and every Saturday.”
Ingram also commented in the press release:
“I’m thrilled to join FOX Sports and Big Noon Kickoff”, Ingram said. “I can’t wait to feel the energy and excitement every Saturday, alongside some of the most talented and entertaining names in our sport, at the biggest games in college football. I’m ready for the fall!”
Ingram, 33, will join Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn, Urban Meyer, and host Rob Stone on the set. The show starts at 10 am EST prior to the start of the Noon kickoff for the Big10. Given the fact that Ingram won the Heisman in 2009, it’s pretty easy to sell him as a face of the show.
Who knows how this puppy will go? Fox Sports seems excited about it. Ingram likely did well in the interview process. For the viewer’s sake, let’s hope Ingram shows off his personality. We don’t need more of Urban Meyer pretending the year in Jacksonville never happened.
