Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota won the Heisman Trophy after an unbelievable 2014 season. After throwing for 38 touchdowns and only 2 interceptions Mariota will most likely be the first overall pick come this May. Melvin Gordon of Wisconsin and Alabama’s Amari Cooper were the other finalists to win the prestigious award. As of today, Tampa Bay would hold the first pick most likely making Mike Evans very happy if they were to land Mariota. The Raiders, Jets, Titans, and Jaguars are the other teams in the running for the first pick, each having 2 wins. Oregon will play Florida State in the Rose Bowl January 1st in a head-to-head matchup with Jameis Winston.
