Le’Veon Bell will continue his boxing career with a match against JMX
After a 10-year NFL career, running back Le’Veon Bell has taken his talents elsewhere in the sporting world. Bell has chosen the route of boxing to pay his bills. With this being said, Bell will continue his boxing career with a new fight against YouTube personal JMX, according to PFT.
Bell last played in the NFL in 2021 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he received a limited number of snaps. The Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Bell in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft with the 48th pick. He spent most of his brief career with Pittsburgh before heading to the Jets in 2019. In his career, Bell accumulated almost 7,000 rushing yards with 42 rushing touchdowns. Bell added around 3,300 receiving yards and nine touchdowns as well.
Currently, Bell is only 31 years old, so he has a lot of fight left in him — pun intended. But beside the point, Bell will be boxing JMX on April 21 in New Orleans for the MF & DAZN series. They have announced no venue at this time.
Bell began his boxing career with a TKO against fellow former NFL running back Adrian Peterson. He later would go into making his pro boxing debut against Uriah Hall. Bell went onto lose his professional debut against Hall by a unanimous decision. Judges ruled in favor of Hall with scores of 40-36 across the board. Bell holds a boxing record in both amateur and professional of 1-1.
In terms of Bell’s opponent JMX, this will be the YouTuber’s fourth fight of his career. He has a record of 4-0 coming into the Bell bout. In his most recent fight, JMX scored a knockout win over TikTok star Ginty in October.
