LeQuint Allen 2025 NFL Draft Profile

I don’t know how to even start these profiles other than repeating myself here. This running back class is so damn loaded that legit studs at the position are being totally forgotten about. LeQuint Allen fits that description pretty well. I have a lot of thoughts to get to on this one so let’s not waste any time and get right to the 2025 NFL Draft profile on the Syracuse product!

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 9Week 14, Senior Bowl (3), Game

Allen, 20, was a three star prospect hailing out of the state of New Jersey. He spent all three years with the Orange but was the starter for the final two campaigns. He may have been just a three star but Allen was also listed as Gatorade’s 2022 New Jersey Player Of The Year. The Millville, New Jersey, native checks in at 6-foot, 204, and he showed really promising progression throughout his career.

In 2023, Allen rushed for 1,064 yards at a 4.3 YPC clip and nine scores. That was followed up with 1,021 rushing yards in 2024 with a 4.5 YPC average and 16 rushing touchdowns. He also had his best receiving season in 2024, posting 64 receptions for 521 yards and four scores. If you read the stock notes at the top, his receiving work is actually what put him on my radar. He’s one of the better receiving backs in the class but also is a factor on the ground too. The guy blocks well in pass pro, and his routes are really clean for a back.

No 40 time for Allen at the Combine but I don’t think speed is an issue for him. The on-field portion of his workout was borderline excellent, and he had an equally good showing at the Senior Bowl. If you’re a fan of Allen, all of the pre-draft stuff likely confirmed how you already felt beforehand.

If you’re going to nitpick him, it’s the fact that he’s a bit too upright and not overly powerful, but that’s about it. Otherwise, it’s hard to ignore the factor in the passing game that he is, and his short area burst is more than noticeable. He also has some return value and can be used in that capacity as well.

I actually really like LeQuint Allen. Again, this is just one of those things where he would be way higher on my list if this were a year ago in a weaker class. I have a middle round grade on the Syracuse back, but there are so many gems in this class, he’s probably outside my top ten, and I still am quite fond of him. He’s going to be a factor on third downs for someone who drafts him.
