LaVar Ball Has Nothing On Jim Hughes

LaVar Ball made a lot of noise and got a lot of hype for getting three of his kids to the NBA. One of which, LiAngelo, isn’t really any good. The other two are point guards, Lonzo & LaMelo, who both have mixed reviews. Lonzo has bad knees and LaMelo is a cancer defensively and we’re unsure if he will ever be a winning player. I just want to know when the real GOAT dad, Jim Hughes will get his credit?

If we’re being honest; Jim Hughes makes LaVar look like a scrub. If you don’t know who I’m referring to, Jim Hughes is the father of Quinn, Jack, and Luke. Three players that are or will be in the NHL while dominating at the highest level.

Jack is going to be the bread winner of the family and at 21, he’s got the Devils at the top seed in the Metro. Jack Hughes is so good that he has helped propel the Devils to legitimate Cup contention now and for the foreseeable future. Hughes has 33 points in 27 games and is a near lock to score 100 points in a season whether that be now or in the near distant future.

That alone already tops LaVar Ball. But wait, there’s more.

Quinn Hughes, a defensemen for the Canucks, is also a tank. If Hughes was playing for a contender, we would be talking about this guy as one of the best in the league. He’s got 25 points in 24 games after notching 68 a year ago. That’s while being an on-ice hog. He carries that Canucks blue line. Hughes is so good that there was a legitimate argument about if he would win the Calder over Cale Makar.

We haven’t seen Luke yet at the NHL level but he was the fourth overall pick by Jersey in 2021. He will make his debut eventually but is currently tearing it up at Michigan. The expectation is that he will be a monster like his two brothers. All three kids were top 10 picks including Jack who went first overall in 2019.

The Jack Hughes Contract Quickly Became A Bargain For The Devils

I don’t know what Jim is doing right now but he needs to start donating his sperm. Forget about LaVar Ball. Imagine if Jim Hughes had 11 kids? His own family has the ingredients to building a Cup team right now. That’s big ball energy and this dad deserves his respect. Credit to Mr. and Mrs. Hughes. Those are some genes right there!

Side Note: There is also a reason the Emma Brown mafia girls like Jack Hughes. They’re cuties. Their words, not mine. I don’t switch hit but have no problem acknowledging he’s a man rocket. Credit where credit is due.
