Landon Jackson 2025 NFL Draft Profile

We’re talking shop on Landon Jackson. You’re already here so you may as well read what I have to say. Without further ado, here is your 2025 NFL Draft profile on the Arkasas edge rusher!

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 6Week 12, Senior Bowl (1), (2), (3), Game

Jackson, 22, initially committed to LSU after being listed as a four star prospect coming out of high school. He was the 7th ranked edge in the country and 19th best player in the state of Texas. The final three seasons were spent with the Hogs. He tore his ACL his sophomore year of HS, but I don’t think that affected his recruiting process at all.

After starting most of his sophomore season, Jackson won First-team All-SEC in 2023. That was followed up by making the Second-team All-SEC list this past year. The 6-foot-6, 264, edge player notched 6.5 sacks each of the last two seasons.

There’s no question Jackson has been a winner during the pre-draft process. A slow day one at the Senior Bowl was followed up by progressively better showings the rest of the way. The Combine performance was also really good. He can be a bit upright sometimes, but overall a really solid showing with plus speed. I don’t think there’s any question that this is a high level athlete when you’re that size jumping over 40 inches on the vertical.

He’s just a really good football player. The stock notes will tell you some things, including winning his matchup against Will Campbell. Jackson was probably Arkansas’ best player the last two years in a row. He also lined up all over the place. When you have that frame, it’s a luxury Jackson brings to the table.

Doesn’t Landon Jackson just feel like a Raven? I think he’s a round 2-3 player with red chip starting upside. It feels like I’m watching the ball version of Jarrett Johnson except better.
