KSI and Logan Paul have officially reached a new level. The two social media kings announced that their drink, Prime, is the official drink of Arsenal Football Club and the internet went absolutely bonkers.
Amongst recent times, this has to be one of the biggest crossovers in sports and the digital media. Moreover it’s just crazy the path to fame these two have taken. Both started out as just mere teenagers creating funny and original content. KSI had some of the most wild content in the 2010s helping him grow into one of the biggest Youtubers out there while also operating in a Youtube group called the Sidemen. Logan Paul on the other hand rose to fame as a pioneer of Vine in the mid 2010s which helped him have a strong following even when the app died and Paul had to focus on his Youtube account.
KSI and Logan Paul aren’t new to groundbreaking announcements and events though as in 2018 and 2019, they dominated Internet headlines with two legitimate boxing fights that became hugely popular. The first fight ended in a draw resulting in a massively hyped up second one the following year where KSI won an extremely close match.
After years of enmity, a podcast changed everything and suddenly they became partners of the hydration and sports nutrition drink, Prime. With the entire Internet at their fingertips, KSI and Logan Paul’s drink became wildly successful, often selling out online and in stores where it was available. Now, we can clearly see just how lucrative the brand has become with the Arsenal deal.
You might be wondering why Arsenal out of all teams in the world, and well it’s because KSI has been an Arsenal fan his whole life. Now did Logan Paul’s favorite team not matter? Well we can’t say anything for sure but I’m sure Paul was still very excited that they could land a sponsorship with a major global sporting brand. Now Arsenal has made some tremendous signings this summer, but as a fan of both I think this one might be the best of all.
