Sports Media
At what points does it become too much? We’re past that point when it comes to the Klutch Sports Agency. This isn’t about being professional or not professional. That part really doesn’t matter. What matters is Klutch Sports as the biggest clown show sports agency on the planet.
We have known forever that Klutch Sports is essentially LeBron’s puppet show. That’s a known fact. One that for whatever reason nobody seems to ever bat an eye at. Credit to LeBron for this part. He wants to control certain aspects of his career and no one should bash him for doing so.
However, Klutch Sports isn’t really about control anymore. It’s about trying to win the NBA’s Award for biggest cry baby in the sports while also trying to damage any team that employs one of their athletes. Klutch doesn’t try to just get their athletes paid anymore. Now it’s about making sure they share a locker room together so they can do some rubbing and tugging with each other.
For whatever reason (probably his limited IQ) LeBron wanted Westbrook. Now LeBron is shocked that it didn’t work. Despite creating the mess, to begin with, LeBron now wants the Lakers to fix it.
He doesn’t just want the Lakers to fix it. A Sports Agency on his behalf planted a story to the media that they’re frustrated the Lakers didn’t trade Westbrook and picks to acquire John Wall. Keep in mind, Wall hasn’t played a game this year. They just want him because Wall is represented by Klutch. This is a real story.
“According to multiple NBA sources, Klutch is not happy with Pelinka. The sentiment has long percolated, but it reached a boil when Pelinka refused to trade Westbrook and a future first-round pick (likely 2027) for Houston Rockets guard and Klutch client John Wall.
The move didn’t make sense for the Lakers from a basketball standpoint as a significant upgrade over Westbrook, even though Wall averaged 20.6 points and 6.9 assists per game last year. Wall hasn’t played this season, with the Rockets focusing on developing younger players. From the Klutch point of view, the Lakers would get their client out of a bad situation in Houston and undo the Westbrook mistake.
Last summer, James met with Westbrook, agreeing that a team-up would work in Los Angeles, per a source privy to the details of the meeting. Pelinka was close to acquiring Buddy Hield from the Sacramento Kings but pivoted to Westbrook at the last moment ahead of the 2021 NBA draft.”
Do we not get how insane that is? Does anybody realize how crazy this is?
Let’s shift it to another sport. Could you imagine Scott Boras doing something like this? Yeah, Boras demands that the Yankees trade for Brandon Crawford because that’s Gerrit Cole’s Brother In-Law. Halfway through the season, Cole gets tired of Crawford. Demands he gets traded for Elvis Andrus because he’s a Boras client.
Here is what would happen. The Yankees would tell Cole to fuck off. Let us worry about building the team. Maybe focus on pitching better up to the capabilities of a Zack Wheeler who we could have signed for less.
Klutch lives in a fairy tale land. They don’t really even care about winning. They just want all of their friends to be close and sip wine together while talking about how Kevin Durant is just way better than LeBron after sharing a make-out session 15 minutes prior.
It’s sad, pathetic, and embarrassing. Could you imagine being that rich and that big of a pus? That’s LeBron and the rest of his friends.
