Ken Holland Is Going To Tank The Kings

I can’t believe a real NHL team hired Ken Holland in the year of our lord 2025. You would think the Kings wouldn’t be interested, considering they watched the same guy crash the car in Edmonton. When you’re gifted Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, and then find a way to still crash the car… maybe that person isn’t good at what they do.

The Kings entered this offseason with $25 million in cap space. They lost Vladislav Gavrikov and turned it into this…

I’ll throw the Flames Nation guys a bone, too, because this video sums it up pretty well, too.

Look, not all the deals are terrible. I get why someone wants Corey Perry, even at this age. Same with bringing back Andrei Kuzmenko on a one year ticket. It’s the defense part of this that blows my mind.

Apparently, Gavrikov wasn’t worth paying. Then backup plan of a Rasmus Andersson trade got rejected right in their face. That backup plan included signing Dumoulin and Ceci to a combined $8.5 million AAV. That’s while also giving away Jordan Spence for pennies on the dollar.

The Kings are screwed. Forget about getting out of the first round. They might not make the playoffs. When Kopitar and Doughty truly fall off the cliff… then what? You trust this idiot to turn things around? This team is so screwed, and frankly, the Kings will get what they deserve because it’s insane anybody hired Holland, to begin with.
