Jonathan Gannon: Marvin Harrison Jr. Works Too Hard

Many people tried to slander Marvin Harrison Jr. in the way that the dopes in the NFL Draft community do best. Spread lies and misinformation that have zero relevance to them. The smart people know there is no debate. It’s Marv and then everybody else at the wide receiver position for the 2024 NFL Draft. It’s safe to say Jonathan Gannon is pretty happy with his rookie wide receiver so far.

“He does a lot extra, probably too much, I’m going to be fighting him about that,” Gannon said.

“If we’re spaced out how many reps and the amount of workload he gets, and then he goes and runs 100 routes on the weekend, he might be dragging today. Now, he doesn’t drag, but I’m just talking about, I love extra work, but you’ve got to be smart about it. You’ve got to have a routine about what you’re doing,” Gannon said.

Seems like a good problem to have. Nothing like having a generational player being the son of a Hall of Famer in your building who works too hard. I tried to tell you that all this nonsense about him not wanting to work out at the Combine or Pro Day was stupid. The guy trains his balls off and you can tell just how nuanced he is in his craft.

The books have high praise for the former Ohio State receiver too. The line on Marv’s rookie receiving total is set at 1,000.5 receiving yards. Not exactly an easy feat to accomplish for a rookie but we know this cat is built different.
