John Cena’s Next WWE Appearance Announced

John Cena is the greatest wrestler of all time. His illustrious career spans over 20 years and numerous championships won. But more recently, he hasn’t been appearing on WWE television and has taken on more of a part-time role. Now, this is because he has had a lot of success acting, along with other ventures outside of the WWE. So with his career dwindling down, fans can’t help but question when his last match will be. Some anticipate it will be at WrestleMania 39 since it is in Hollywood. Others don’t want it to come any time soon.

Cena last appeared on the December 30th episode of Friday Night Smackdown, in which he did wrestle a match. That was the only match he wrestled in 2022, however, many fans and journalists speculate he will wrestle at WrestleMania 39. In support of those hopes, we just got some very interesting news.

John Cena Returns

WWE announced in an email that John Cena will be on the March sixth episode of Monday Night Raw. The March sixth episode of Monday Night Raw will be in Boston, Massachusetts, which is John Cena’s hometown. It is unclear what Cena will be doing on the show, but you can’t help but think it may have something to do with WrestleMania. WrestleMania is the next premium live event for WWE and is a little over a month away. So the timing seems to be more than a coincidence. However, nothing has been confirmed so it is all just speculation. Regardless of what John Cena does on Raw, it is always great to see him on WWE television, especially in his hometown.
