Joe Flacco and the Ravens laid a whooping on the Cincinnati Bengals pitching a shutout 20-0 win. The Baltimore defense suffocated Andy Dalton forcing five turnovers leading the way to victory. Apparently, Joe Flacco wasn’t happy with the offensive game plan despite the win.

“It wasn’t that fun to play on offense — just to be honest,” Flacco said, via ESPN.com. “I was 9-for-17, and I threw for a hundred and a couple [121] yards . I mean, it’s not that fun. I’d rather throw for 350 and win 42-0, not 20-0. But it’s fun to win, and that’s the most important thing.”

Flacco has always had a weird demeanor and seems to play up to the level of competition. In fairness to the Ravens game plan, the team was able to win without completing a pass in the second half. Baltimore went with a run heavy attack. Probably because Flacco had been dealing with back troubles. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it right?

Obviously, the Ravens defense won’t pitch shutouts every week so Flacco will obviously be asked to do more in close games. On the flip side, why in the world is Flacco complaining? Would he rather have a putrid defense behind him and throw the ball forty times a game?
