Jiri Prochazka: I Need To Evolve Or Not Fight Again After UFC 303 Loss

At UFC 303, Jiri Prochazka suffered a violent knockout loss against Alex Pereira. It was his second knockout loss to Pereira within the last calendar year. Prochazka responded to his loss with an Instagram video explaining that he needs to evolve or not fight again.

“Only one thing goes on my mind,” Prochazka said. “I need to evolve to the next level or don’t fight again. So it’s simple, to be the strongest this is the way. Thank you. See you at the gym.”

Thankfully for fans, Prochazka appears to be embracing the evolve portion of his ultimatum. The ending comment, “See you at the gym,” suggests he is not shying away from change.

Prochazka’s next bout will be one to keep an eye on. It will be interesting to see how he changes as a fighter. Only time will tell.
