Jason Whitlock is smiling ear to ear watching Barstool’s demise. Recently a couple of intruders stormed the Barstool office in New York during an incident that may or may not lead back to Mintzy. Whitlock thinks Barstool has become played out at this point and he wants in on making fun of them.
Alex Stein, the person who made the video storming the Barstool office, appeared on Whitlock’s show recently.
The remarks pissed Dave Portnoy off. So much so that he made sure to mention it on the latest Rundown episode. He very much does not think the intrusion was a joke. So much so that he essentially said that they probably should have been shot. Had Tiko Texas totally taken all of them out, he would not have been sad about it.
Apparently, this now feud stems for a deletion of one of Stein’s videos. Portnoy says during the Rundown episode that Social media guy Paul was drunk and made a mistake on posting it. The video was about irresponsible betting which is something Barstool cannot promote with their deal with Penn. Stein got mad about the deletion of the video and wants his revenge.
Given the fact that Stein just stormed the office, I’m not sure we will hear the last of him. He’s certainly got a bone to pick with Portnoy. It just remains to be seen what he’s planning next. Given the attention that the video has made, another rival company could even look to hire him in hopes of making a spark.
