Sports Media
A war is brewing between Jason Whitlock and Dave Portnoy. Jason Whitlock recently dropped a column that ripped Dave Portnoy on Blaze Media. Technically Andrew Tate was ripped in the post too but he’s currently banned from social media so I don’t think he will be available for comment.
“Dave Portnoy and Andrew Tate are the Al Capone and Lucky Lucciano of masculinity prohibition. Portnoy and Tate bootleg moonshine masculinity across the internet.
Their wealth and fame are byproducts of America’s misguided masculinity temperance movement.
We’re living in the third wave of masculinity prohibition. Each wave popularizes and enriches a new breed of masculinity bootleggers.
Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, and Tate, a kickboxing champion turned TikTok influencer, are the latest undeserving benefactors of an unholy mission Democrats and feminists devised 60 years ago to demonize manhood.
Portnoy built a sports media empire pretending to be a fearless ESPN disruptor standing against the wokefication of sports and American culture. It’s now clear he’s a total fraud and sellout. His lone interests are money and access to barely legal women. He sold Barstool to a gambling company for hundreds of millions of dollars, and now Barstool is every bit as woke as ESPN.”

Whitlock seems to be referencing a new drama story that Portnoy is involved in beyond all the metaphors that are littered in his post. Yesterday Portnoy was in a Twitter beef with comedian Alex Stein who is part of Blaze Media. That likely sparked Whitlock’s post.
Portnoy made sure to fireback at Whitlock like he always does.
In other Barstool news, it’s been a busy week for Portnoy and the company. Penn National Gaming bought out the rest of the company. Does that mean retirement is near anyway for Portnoy? Probably now. However, Barstool also did bring back a familiar face in the form of Francis Ellis.
Time will tell if this beef will turn into anything else. Too bad our talking head Bryan Tann quit or else he would have been a great debate partner for Whitlock. What could have been…
