There has been speculation of James Harden being traded since before the season started.

Well, now it has happened. Harden is heading to Brooklyn.

The trade was first reported by Shams Charania.

This has turned into a four-team trade!

The Rockets are receiving Victor Oladipo (Indiana Pacers), Dante Exum (Cleveland), Rodions Kurucs (Brooklyn), three Brooklyn first-round picks (22, 24,26), One Milwaukee first (22, unprotected), 4 Brooklyn First Round Swaps (21, 23,25,27)

The Nets are recieving James Harden.

Pacers will receive Caris LeVert and a 2nd rounder.

While the Cleveland Cavaliers will receive Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince.

There were a few teams that Harden was interested in. But, the Nets have won the sweepstakes.

After the press conference from Harden yesterday, it was only a matter of time until a trade had occurred. There’s no point in keeping him in Houston if he wants to doubt his own team.

Due to his horrible comments in the press conference, the Houston Rockets kept him away from the team, until a trade was completed. Now that it is confirmed, Harden can go say his goodbyes.

This season Harden is averaging 24.8 points to go with 10.4 assists and 5.1 rebounds. His assists rank him second amongst the entire NBA.

James Harden will now be teaming up with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.

How will this trade effect the Brooklyn Nets?

This may or may not be a good trade for the Nets. Will the three players be willing to help one another and give up a good shot for a great shot?

There will be a lot of bickering going on in Brooklyn when it comes to who gets the shot. I mean who is going to be the franchise player here.
