Jabari Parker Is The Kings’ 2020 X-Factor

After looking at the Kings season restart schedule in Orlando. Their schedule works out favorable to have a fighting chance at the 8th seed in the Western Conference. That spot is currently being fought for by 6 teams, that would be including the current 8th seed, the Memphis Grizzlies. The Kings need all the help they can get. If they are looking to make the playoffs, they’ll need some solid production from Jabari Parker.

So far, Jabari Parker’s career has been riddled with injuries. However, he still is only 24 years old. So hopefully, he can have a healthier career from here on out. Jabari Parker can still be a key player for the Kings. As you should know, I can’t stand Harrison Barnes. Therefore, the more help you have around Barnes, the better. For the season, he is averaging around 15 PPG on 50% shooting, 1.8 APG, and 5.9 RPG. It looks like he is going to come off the bench for the Kings which is HUGE. That kind of production will be great for them. I don’t know if he will still have that much of production due to the amount of talent the Kings do have, but to have Jabari Parker as a safety net is far from bad.

Jabari Parker will surely be competing for minutes with Harrison Barnes, Kent Bazemore, Nemanja Bjelica, and Bogdan Bogdanovic. That’s pretty deep for wings. The Kings had some key injuries throughout the season, therefore, their record is lower than it should. However, Jabari Parker only makes the team better. He could be the 3rd leading scorer for the Kings if he averages more than 15 PPG. The amount he can produce in his minutes will surely make him the Kings’ X-Factor. Look out for the Kings to make a solid push for that 8th seed.
