Before I begin, I just want to give a quick shoutout to the Club Fantasy crew. They have been doing a great job putting fantasy football threads together for all the NFL Draft prospects. It’s a great one-stop shop place to get a gauge on how everyone in the fantasy-NFL Draft community feels on certain prospects. I say this all the time. You, the viewer, should evaluate the evaluator, and these threads are a fantastic way to track all of this stuff. I’ve never heard of Thor Nystrom before today, but if you’re smart, you don’t take anything that he says seriously moving forward.
Today was the thread on Kaleb Johnson. Nystrom’s profile on the Iowa running back was the most hilarious for all of the wrong reasons. You don’t have to go far either. The humor starts right at the cover image.
Oh, by the way, Johnson ran 4.57…
I just have two questions for this dummy, Nystrom.
A: If you thought Johnson was running in the 4.4s, you don’t have a single clue what you’re watching. Nystrom either doesn’t have an eye for scouting, or he doesn’t watch the games. Maybe it’s both. Either way, he pretty much exposed himself for having a poor eye for talent evaluation. Just no possible way anyone watched Johnson and said – “yeah, that’s a 4.4 guy” unless you lack intelligence. That’s all that really needs to be said here.
B: Why would you even write the full scouting report profile on a player without all of the Combine testing to come out? It’s incredibly stupid and lacks serious self-awareness to lay out a draft profile on a player when you don’t have all of the available evidence at your disposal. I don’t even know the right way to properly describe it, but we’re talking putting your hand on the burning stove level stupid.
When you really put all of this into perspective, you realize how uneducated this Nystrom really sounded with this statement.
Also, this was the fastest group of running backs ever at the Combine. The average 40 time for the group of RBs was 4.48. The Iowa tailback was tied for the 5th-worst 40 time out of all the players at the position. Johnson’s 10-yard split time of 1.62 was also the single worst time of any running back in the class.
So yeah… not fast or explosive.
I haven’t even gotten into the rest of the article, but don’t bother, it’s hot garbage. If you want to read a real profile on Kaleb Johnson, I’ve got you.
I have some additional thoughts before we close this puppy out.
A: If Nystrom worked for Vendetta Sports, he would have two options. He would either be forced to make an apology video, taking accountability for being wrong, while he simultaneously eats a bologna sandwich. If he refused, he would be fired on the spot.
Of course, Matthew Berry wouldn’t handle things that way because he has no sense of pride in anything he does.
B: Matthew Berry has quite the collection of dummies on his side. It’s actually unbelievable when you think about the cast of idiots he has working for him.
He’s got Connor Rogers, who has may as well have been neutered with the way he acts. Rogers is the definition of devoted, not loyal. We already went over everything you need to know in the previous link.
He’s also got Lawrence Jackson, who is a race baiting scumbag who can’t speak English. I personally think it’s insane that anybody would employ that dirtbag, but that’s Berry for you.
Now we got bologna man who runs his mouth without having a single clue what he’s talking about.
Again, if Nystrom has any pride, he owns up to this and records an apology video while eating bologna at the same time. If I did something like this, I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night. The fact that Nystrom hasn’t done this already should tell you the viewer everything you need to know.
C: I own Matthew Berry, and the evidence is undeniable.
