Hollin Pierce 2025 NFL Draft Profile

Hollin Pierce is a damn skyscraper. Checking in at 6-foot-8, 341, Pierce is certainly one of the most fascinating tackles to discuss in this upcoming class. We’re going to talk about everything you need to know about the Rutgers tackle in this edition of the 2025 NFL Draft profile series!

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 1, East-West (1), (2), Game

Pierce, a redshirt senior, was a zero star recruit coming out of high school. The Trenton, New Jersey, native was actually a walk-on at Rutgers. He redshirted his first year and became a full time starter the next four years. Pierce started at right tackle for two years and then left tackle for the final two campaigns.

Again, I don’t talk much offensive line in the stock report notes, but it’s hard not to notice this guy when he plays. You can’t miss him on the size alone. I liked everything that I saw during the year, and Second-team All-Big Ten this past year says a lot. I thought he was fantastic at the East-West game too.

No real testing here at the Combine in terms of the speed or vertical elements. Pierce did complete in the on-field stuff and looked pretty good for the most part. He struggles bending his knees and is a bit heavy footed getting out in space. Other than that, it was a really nice showing if you contextual the body type. He looked better than when Orlando Brown did the same events.

I just really like this player. He was only called for four total penalties during his collegiate career. Pretty damn good considering that’s four years of starting against Big Ten competition. He does a pretty decent job at being a chain mover in terms of chugging his feet in the run game. Over the last two years, he’s only given up two total sacks, not to mention that it’s like trying to get around a house.

I like Hollin Pierce more than most. So much so that he might just be a top ten tackle for me. He’s a middle round guy for me, and the body type and skillset alone is too intriguing to go any later.
