Hockey Guy Trey Goes For Fantasy Glory: S2, Day 7,8,9,10

We’re back with more Hockey Guy Trey content. We’re here to go over days 7, 8, 9, and 10. For the Finals, we won’t combine the days but since the Semi win is already guaranteed, it feels better to do it this way.

Does Gavin even deserve to be an Avalanche fan after rooting for his own team to lose? (Kyle Ferreri/Vendetta Sports Media)

Sunday:

Sunday was a good day. Freddie Anderson was a beast in net. I made a noob move starting Kevin Lankinen against the Stars. It was a back to back for Dalla and thought I could steal one there. It’s okay because Jason Robertson had a game scoring two goals. Miro Heiskanen collected two assists as well.

Tony DeAngelo, Brayden Point, and Steven Stamkos added one assist each. We increased the lead by ten.

Monday:

No real games of note. Sam Montembeault was the goalie today coaching in on a decent start minus the loss to Winipeg. Lead went up by another nine points.

Tuesday:

We actually lost a good chunk of the lead on Tuesday. It doesn’t necessarily matter because we have done more than enough already to this point. Sebastian Aho got back on the scorer’s sheet cashing in on a goal and assist. Robertson was back to collecting points. An assist for Aleksander Barkov and a sexy overtime winner by Jonathan Huberdeau helps.

The real hero was Shea Theodore. Two goals for him. Glad to see he’s back, back. Alex Pietrangelo and Jack Eichel got points in this one too. Jacob Markstrom didn’t have the best start which hurt the point total.

Wednesday:

It was a cancel out day. Patrik Laine was great. Three point night for him but I went back to Montembeault who obviously lost points when Laine scored. Upped the lead slightly.

At the end of Wednesday, we’re up by about 84. We’re ready for the Finals.

SIDE NOTE: Gavin just rooted for his own team to lose in a game where they scored nine goals? Now that’s BAD karma.
