Every championship team needs a competent bullpen. We’re officially in the 8th inning. We extended our league in a big way Friday in what felt like a make or break day.

The Nashville Predators were about an inch away from winning in a shut out. A 3-1 win isn’t so bad either which is good news for me. Juuse Saros was the MVP of the day going 29-30 on save opportunities and cashing in on a big DUB. Saros needed to rebound after a terrible performance Wednesday.

The Bruins somehow lost to the Sabres but Charlie McAvoy posted an assist. Good for me. My move to pick up Craig Smith? Not so much.

Jacob Trouba once again didn’t play. Exactly what I needed.

Tyler Toffoli continues his point streak with a goal. The only downside in that game was Shane Monahan decided to get three of his own points.
