The Vegas Golden Knights have been rolling through the NHL and no one is stopping them so far. In their first six seasons as a franchise, no one has been comparable to them. They have already exceeded expectations. With their win against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023, the Knights became the first ever NHL franchise to win 30 games in each of its first six seasons.
Last night, the Knights kicked off their father’s trip with a win. They defeated the Predators 5-1, snapping a four-game losing streak. The game was an absolute beat down for the Knights, as the Predators stood no chance against the Golden Knights offense. The Golden Knights outshot the Predators 29-17.
Founded in 2017, the Vegas Golden Knights were the first team to ever represent Sin City. They have made the playoffs four times in six seasons, winning seven series and making an appearance in the Stanley Cup final. They would eventually lose to the Washington Capitals in 2018 in five games. Although they lost, this appearance was in their first ever season. That is absurd!
Vegas will look to keep this win rolling their next few games as they face the Minnesota Wild, Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks in their next three games.
One player that the Golden Knights have missed this season is Mark Stone. In their previous losing streak, the absence of Stone has shown. Before his injury, Stone had 38 points in only 43 games this season. He has been the key to the Golden Knights’ success.
