-After meeting with another specialist, Gio Urshela won’t need surgery for his pelvis fracture, Phil Nevin said. But since he needs to be shut down at least 6 weeks, with at least 6 weeks of build up after that, it seems like Urshela’s season is done.
Urshela, known for his solid defensive skills and consistent offensive contributions, suffered a significant injury during a recent game against the Oakland Athletics. The severity of the injury, a pelvis fracture, has cast an unfortunate shadow over the Angels’ successful season thus far. He will not need surgery.
