NBA Champion Giannis Antetokounmpo Loves Him Some Chick-fil-A
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 50 points against the Phoenix Suns last night en route to an NBA title and Finals MVP award. After multiple MVP awards and a Defensive Player of the Year award, this is the crowning achievement of the 26-year-old’s career thus far.
A day later, Giannis is celebrating exactly how one would expect: Chick-fil-A drive-thru baby. With the Larry O’Brien Trophy and Finals MVP trophy in his back seat, the Greek Freak casually rolled up to his local CFA for some Chick-n-Minis. He was very particular about the number as well, broadcasting his order on Instagram Live for all to see:

A 50-piece for the Finals MVP. Not 49. Not 51. 50 exactly. That’s a real baller move. Gotta respect it. Giannis even asked the nice Chick-fil-A employee if he had permission to record her. He added a half-Sprite, half-lemonade to his order – I didn’t know that was a thing but maybe it’s worth a try.
While in the drive-thru, Giannis also managed to start a “Bucks in Six” chant with all the other waiting cars. That might be the most perfect everyman celebration to an NBA championship ever. Just chilling in the drive-thru with fans, waiting on some Chick-fil-A.
The Milwaukee Bucks championship parade is scheduled for Thursday, July 22. Hopefully Giannis Antetokounmpo will have finished all his Chick-n-Minis by then.
