Four-Star LB Madden Faraimo commits to Notre Dame

Notre Dame makes a huge signing as they land linebacker Madden Faraimo. The four-star recruit comes from J. Serra Catholic located in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Faraimo received a lot of interest from schools such as USC, Washington, Texas, and Ohio State. Ultimately, the 6 foot 3 inches and 230-pound linebacker decided that the Fighting Irish was his best fit.

Madden Faraimo is the No. 80 ranked player and No. 3 ranked linebacker in the 2025 class according to 247 Sports. Notre Dame is sitting with a top 15 recruiting class according to 247 Sports. Faraimo will be headed to South Bend with some other four-star defensive back prospects that will ideally keep Notre Dame’s defense elite. 

Faraimo talked about his decision and explained why Notre Dame felt like a great fit to 247 Sports National Analyst Greg Biggins.

“Notre Dame is unique because I value my faith and that is a central part of the University,”-Madden Faraimo

Also, Faraimo said,

“Notre Dame is highly respected academically as well and I would be honored to play under coach Freeman’s leadership.” – Madden Faraimo

Five-Star OL Lamont Rogers commits to Texas A&M 

Notre Dame has one of the best defenses in the country in the 2024 season. It appears they want to keep the trend going with a pretty solid 2025 defensive recruiting class. The Fighting Irish do not have a five-star yet but their list of four stars continues to grow. Ultimately, Madden Faraimo was a huge top-100 prospect commit for Notre Dame and a solid pickup for their linebacker room. Furthermore, the commitment continues Notre Dame’s success at finding talent out west, especially recruiting in California.
