Pittsburgh Steelers free agent linebacker Jason Worilds is set to retire. The 27 year old has decided to step away from the game. Worilds decision came via a chain of tweets.
It is a shame Worilds walked away from the game without truly cashing in. The Titans were one of the teams expected to heavily pursue the edge rusher. Worilds did receive the 9.75 million dollar transition tag last season to prevent his free agency a year ago. Let’s just hope Jason and his family will be financially stable for years to come. Worilds will finish his five year career with 25.5 sacks.
