Former NFL GM Acknowledged How Right I Was About Derek Stingley

Does anybody remember this post? Or… what about this one? Nobody was more all-in on Derek Stingley prior to the 2022 NFL Draft. So much so that I actually got a text that I influenced what the Texans did on draft day.

Fast forward two-plus years later. Former NFL GM Michael Lombardi basically acknowledged that Stingley is the best cornerback in the league.

Guess who we won't hear from on Stingley…

We already know how this game works. Nobody will care. Nobody will say a word. They will continue to listen to trash NFL Draft analysts like Daniel Jokemiah who continue to tell lies. I can lead a horse to water but I can’t force the horse to drink it.

How much evidence do you need? I am the best NFL Draft brain on the planet and it’s not close. When will Trey get the respect he deserves? That’s the real question.

As for Stingley, the Texans have a real star on their hands (Shocker). With the addition of Kamari Lassiter, their secondary is really coming together. Add in a year two bump for Will Anderson and this Houston team feels like a real Super Bowl contender. Let’s just not forget how big of a factor Stingley is to their success. He’s a damn stud and everyone who has a brain while paying attention to college football knew it.
