I Am A Fan Of Ayesha Curry

Ayesha Curry
This is the Ayesha Curry respect blog who should be deemed as talented beyond just being married to Steph Curry. Her cooking ability isn’t talked about enough. (Jordan Strauss / Invision)

I Am A Fan Of Ayesha Curry

Fair or unfair, you can’t help but question certain things. Is Ayesha Curry famous because her husband is Steph Curry? OR would she be famous and successful regardless? It’s not really a question I ponder actively but the thought at least crossed my mind prior to watching her appearance on the Selena Gomez cooking show on HBO Max (where you can read my review here). I would like it on the record that I am, in fact, a fan of Ayesha.

You either have it or you don’t. I say that all the time in the sports media industry. Skip Bayless isn’t actually talented. He just called Troy Aikman gay once and somehow got a promotion because of it. Cooper Manning isn’t talented. He’s just brothers with Peyton and Eli. This cannot be said of Ayesha Curry.

Ayesha is talented. She brings energy and just gets it. I also ate her chicken sandwich and I’m confident in saying that it’s the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten in my life. You can find that recipe here from the episode. I encourage everyone to watch it because she’s talented.

It’s the little things that count. When Ayesha said that lettuce has to be on the bottom bun, it just made so much sense. I was impressed with the cooking ability. I know Ayesha has her own career with that stuff but I need to see more because I’m hooked.

Call it a respect blog, because more of it has to be thrown the way towards Ayesha Curry. She’s good, good. Kuddos to her. She has the it factor. I’m a fan.
