We’re rolling along with the 2025 NFL Draft profile series. Trey is doing the best I can to get as many done as I can prior to the big day. We’re talking about Syracuse edge rusher Fadil Diggs in this one. Feel free to comment as always.
Diggs, 23, was a four star recruit coming out of high school. He was ranked as the 177th overall player, 11th DE, and fourth player in the state of New Jersey. The Camden native spent four years at Texas A&M before finishing up with the Orange. He was New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year coming out of high school.
No stock notes on Diggs, but I did watch Syracuse a bunch of times this year. He had a sack in the game against Miami and two in the UNLV game. On the season, Diggs posted 7.5. The two seasons prior with the Aggies, Diggs notched seven. The season before, Diggs was actually a team captain and pulled out three forced fumbles.
Based on all the Combine stuff, it’s pretty obvious that this is a real player. Just the way he was moving in the open field, this is someone who has real athletic traits. Ran a pretty fast time. Has some gumby qualities. Also checks in at 6-foot-4, 257, and over 33 inch arms too. Long and quickness traits are on his side. Probably needs to add power to become the real deal.
When it comes to Fadil Diggs, I have a middle round grade here. Someone who can be a real contributor with plus sack upside.
