Erika Ayers Posts Incredibly Tone Deaf LinkedIn Video

The sports industry is broken. Nobody is willing to admit it or do anything about it other than sending fake Twitter sympathy notes on sports writers who continue to be laid off. SB Nation just wacked a number of employees. A few weeks before that, PFF did the same thing. It won’t be the first or last place to announce budget cuts. Until people recognize that this industry is broken and people start rallying together to get the revolution that’s needed, these things will continue to happen. Erika Ayers has entered the chat.

Erika Ayers, AKA formerly known as Erika Nardini, put out such a tone deaf video on LinkedIn that everyone needs to watch. Erika sits there on her throne of lies bragging about how budget cuts are coming because they answer to Penn Gaming now. All of the podcasts have budgets now and the shows that don’t perform to high enough expectations will be fired.

It’s not about feeling bad for the people that get fired. It’s about the fact that Ayers decided to promote how broken the sports industry is on a platform that is quite literally designed to network and build professional relationships. If that doesn’t tell you everything that you need to know there is no hope for you. This industry to so broken and it’s so disgusting that a CEO in power can insult the rest of the industry like this.

Again, I have no issue firing people. Some people don’t work that hard. Some people aren’t capable of doing this job and belong in another profession. I fired people live on camera during the Survivor series. All the people that get sent packing deserved to go. However, there’s no chance I’m promoting canning people on a website that’s designed to do the complete opposite. That’s just brain dead.

Can you imagine being a job hunter looking for a new position and seeing this video? Disgusting. Why would I want to explore an opportunity at a place that promotes budget cuts on a site that’s designed to network? So embarrassing. Next time use your critical thinking skills, Erika. You’re better than this.

Side note: Did you just admit a company that’s more than a decade old never budgeted before? You want people to take you seriously as a CEO? Talk about the poo poo platter of poor leadership.

Maybe Erika should do less talking. Not sure she needs her own podcast if she’s just going to be a mouth piece for Penn. Is that your way of getting respect? How many people listen to your show? Want to talk about budget cuts? How about take away the resources for your show and put them towards other Barstool shows that pull in more viewers? Nobody thinks Token CEO is a necessary piece of content that’s needed. Expect you won’t do that because it doesn’t benefit you. You sit on a throne of lies built on the hard work of others.

Disgusting. Tone deaf. Embarrassing.
