Slowly and surely Vendetta Sports Media will establish itself as the premier go to site for fantasy sports. You can laugh at that statement all you want but the evidence doesn’t lie. I own fantasy hockey (RIP Sean Allen). Matthew Berry was embarrassed. In 2024 we’re throwing our hat in the fantasy baseball realm and the Don’t Eat The Cheese series will return to cover MLB.

For now, I don’t have anything against ESPN’s fantasy baseball department. Time will tell if that changes. In the meantime, I’m just going to give you busts. Any player that’s ranked too high inside the top 50, we’re going to expose them together.

Jose Ramirez (Cleveland Guardians) -3B1, 7th overall

Very, very good player. Just funny trying to pretend that there is a better third baseman in the sport than Rafael Devers. I guarantee Devers outscores him this year and will bet ESPN whatever they want. I’d also rather have Austin Riley, who does nothing except hit tanks, at pick 41. That’s just way better bang for my buck.

Think the age is starting to show here. Power numbers are way down. His .774 OPS is the lowest since his rookie year. His 26 homers from last year are his worst mark since 2014. Also, this Cardinals team stinks and I want almost nothing to do with them.
